Corporate activities

Being traditionally proactive in terms of social responsibility, the Univest-M group of companies has devised a comprehensive long-term program in this domain. In December 2008 the Univest-M group of companies triggered a new project aimed at support to the most financially dependent social group of the Belarusian society – children and veterans of the Great Patriotic War.

During 22-31 December 2008 the Univest-M group of companies provided sponsorship to:

1. Boarding School №10 in Minsk for psychophysically-challenged children.
2. Minsk City Council of Veterans.
3. Parish to the Cathedral, honoured the Kazan Icon of God`s Mother, placed in Okolovo village, Logoisk district, Minsk region.
4. Parish to the Cathedral of Saint Onufrij the Great in the village of Obol’, Shumilinsky district, Vitebsk region.
5. Municipal Children’s Hospital in Mozyr’

Additionally, personnel of the group of companies conveyed season’s greetings and New Year’s gifts to schoolchildren of Boarding School №10 and little patients of Municipal Children’s Hospital in Mozyr’.

«Winter Sun» project embodies care of children and elderly people, creating a holiday and dream-come-true atmosphere. We are convinced that friendly support can turn cold gloomy winter days into warmer and brighter. Presumably, the project will be realized annually. The next «Winter Sun” will start in December 2009.
